What the Firecrawl MCP server does
An assistant can scrape a single URL, map a site to list its indexed URLs, search the web, and start crawl jobs that return final status and data. It can also parse local files or hosted upload references, run an autonomous research agent when URLs are unknown, and interact with pages. A remote endpoint is listed at https://mcp.firecrawl.dev/v2/mcp, and a local option runs via npx firecrawl-mcp with a Firecrawl API key.
