What happened
On October 13, 2026, Google's newest frontier model, Gemini 4 Argon, rolled out worldwide. Developers and businesses can reach it through the API in AI Studio and the Gemini platform. Google AI Ultra subscribers can also run it in Google Antigravity, while Ultra and Pro subscribers can use it in the Gemini app and in Search's AI Mode.
Why it matters
Builders and companies now have programmatic access, and paying subscribers at the Ultra and Pro tiers can use the model in everyday Google products. Google says Argon inside Antigravity helped teams raise agentic code submissions by over 35% and cut code rollbacks by close to one-third.
