What the Exploratory data analysis skill does

It lets the assistant run bounded, local exploratory analysis on explicitly supported scientific files, such as redacted CSV, TSV, and JSON profiles, with optional inspection of NumPy, HDF5, FASTA/FASTQ, and basic image metadata. It can also check for missingness and leakage, test outlier and transformation sensitivity, and produce EDA report scaffolds. It is meant for inspecting authorized local data before modeling or confirmatory inference, and unknown formats fail closed.

What it covers

  • Redacted CSV/TSV/JSON profiles
  • Optional NumPy, HDF5, FASTA/FASTQ, image metadata inspection
  • Missingness and leakage audits
  • Outlier and transformation sensitivity
  • EDA report scaffolds
