  • Hosted (remote)
  • Verified against its source 19 Oct 2026

What the Asana MCP server does

This hosted MCP server lets AI assistants and other software reach the Asana Work Graph and act within an Asana workspace. Connect to it remotely at https://mcp.asana.com/v2/mcp. Sign-in uses OAuth with your Asana account, and you will be asked to approve the app when you connect. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code. Your MCP client must support Streamable HTTP transport, and it must not be blocked in your workspace through Asana app management.

How to install it

Add this address to your assistant's MCP settings:

What you need

In the Asana documentation's own words:

  • “A compatible MCP client (Streamable HTTP is supported)”
  • “The above MCP client app (or the Asana MCP app, for beta clients) must not be blocked in your workspace via Asana app management ”
