Pullboard

Pullboard is a local, open source work board in a git repo that lets AI coding agents pick up tasks and check each other's work.

What Pullboard does

It is a task board stored in a git repository that agents read and update. Another agent checks each finished task against its criterion before it is accepted. Agents send questions up the chain, so the user only sees decisions that need them.

Built for

  • Developers running AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode

Key features

  • Tasks with a bar each is checked against, one agent at a time
  • Agent-to-agent questions escalated to the user
  • Spec rows where only approved rows count
  • House rules enforced by git hooks and review
  • Log of claims, submits, rejects and accepts
  • Cross-project view of multiple repo boards
  • Separate worktree and lane for each agent

Pros

Pros

  • Runs locally with no account required.
  • Each finished task is checked by a different agent rather than the one that built it.
  • Decisions are kept in the spec so they persist beyond a single chat.
