What the HubSpot MCP server does

Published by HubSpot, this server connects MCP-enabled AI tools and agents to CRM information, letting them safely read and write contacts, deals, engagements, and more. The hosted version is reached remotely at mcp.hubspot.com from a supported MCP client and authenticates through OAuth. For a local setup, run hs mcp setup and follow the prompts. The hosted server requires the new HubSpot Developer Platform and a user-level application with read scopes for the CRM objects you want to access, and it cannot access custom Sensitive Data Properties, including Personal Health Information and other Highly Sensitive Data. The local server requires the latest HubSpot CLI installed, and the Developer MCP server specifically requires Developer Platform v2025.2.
