What the Playwright MCP server does

An assistant can use it to interact with web pages through Playwright browser automation, including navigating to a URL, clicking elements, typing into editable fields, taking accessibility snapshots or screenshots, and evaluating JavaScript on a page. Other listed tools return a numbered list of network requests since the page loaded and list cookies, optionally filtered by domain or path. It runs locally, started with the command npx @playwright/mcp@latest and an optional config file.
