What the Hugging Face MCP server does

An assistant can connect to the Hugging Face Hub and to thousands of Gradio AI applications through this server. The hosted version is reached at https://huggingface.co/mcp over HTTP and can be added to Claude with a claude mcp add command. Run on your own machine, the server can start with npx in STDIO or Streamable HTTP mode, or in a Docker container on port 3000.
