What the Postman MCP server does

Gemini CLI, Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code Copilot, and GitHub Copilot CLI are among the AI agents and coding helpers it connects directly to your Postman workspaces, collections, specifications, and environments. Users choose from tool groups ranging from a lean set of core Postman actions to a complete collection of more than 100 API tools, along with utilities for producing client code and querying Postman Docs. It runs as a hosted remote server at a web address or locally through npx.
