The Interview me skill helps an AI assistant draw out what a user actually wants when a request is vague or underspecified.

What the Interview me skill does

The assistant uses it to ask the user questions that separate what they want from what they think they should want. It applies when a request leaves out details such as who it is for or why it is needed now. The assistant considers the work settled only after the user gives an explicit yes.

What it covers

  • Asks one question at a time, each with a guess attached
  • Probes for want versus should-want answers
  • Restates intent in the user's words for confirmation
